Why Choose Us?
-
We know nonprofits
At Enabling Digital, nonprofits are our sole focus. We work exclusively with regional, national, and international nonprofit organizations. Our team members each bring over 25 years of experience working with leading nonprofit organizations. We understand your unique challenges and what it takes to make technology successful from the inside out.
Our team members have held management positions at large nonprofit organizations. Our extensive, hands-on knowledge provides us with unique insights into the organizational dynamics of nonprofit organizations. We have been in your shoes and understand what it takes to make technology initiatives successful, with unparalleled insights into nonprofit culture and operations.
-
We are experts in Software Selection and supporting technology implementation projects
Our team has facilitated numerous software selection initiatives for a variety of nonprofits and supported many of those clients through successful implementations, user adoption, and ongoing value realization.
-
We are 100% vendor-independent and technology-agnostic
We have no financial ties to any vendor. This means our recommendations are always in your best interest, free from conflicts of interest. We stay deeply knowledgeable about the solutions marketplace and maintain good relationships and communication with vendors to provide you with valuable expertise and insights on their offerings and product roadmaps, services, and degree of customer satisfaction.
-
We embrace an inclusive project approach
We believe that diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential components of successful technology projects. We design our projects to ensure everyone feels welcomed, heard, respected, and valued. This is the most effective way to ensure our work delivers lasting value.
We do this by clearly establishing decision-making roles and processes to ensure that all voices are heard and that decisions are made in an inclusive and equitable manner.
We create an environment where it is comfortable to take risks, where the participants are representative of the overall team, and where the roles are rotated regularly to ensure that every voice is heard. We are transparent about how decisions are made and strive to ensure that all perspectives are considered.
-
We are able to field the best team for each engagement
Our team members come from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, and we have a broad network built over decades of experience and collaboration. We assemble the right team based on the needs of each project
We attract and retain top talent and minimize our carbon footprint. We are deliberate in structuring our organization to support team members in a variety of circumstances. We are flexible in engaging team members and independent contractors. This allows us to offer a full complement of skilled resources required to assemble the best teams for each individual engagement and deliver solutions that are a value-add at rates that are reasonable for the nonprofit clients we serve.
We encourage communication and mutual respect and understanding. After each engagement, we hold internal “retrospectives” making a concerted effort to capture lessons learned, reflect on how each team member personally experienced their role throughout the project, and where we could have done better. Over time, these retrospective exercises have led us to update our approach to facilitating meetings, coordinating schedules, methods for brainstorming, and methods for expressing anxiety or challenging and supporting each other.
As leaders, we intentionally express our vulnerabilities and uncertainties, to model behavior we hope to see across our team and with our clients. We constantly remind ourselves to strive to listen and exhibit curiosity, rather than debate and advocate.
